Each April, Spring Back to Vail is a celebration of spring skiing, sunny on-mountain events, concerts, and the always popular World Pond Skimming Championships spectator event.

Come and celebrate the 4th of July in Vail with the return of the Vail America Days Parade. The night sky will also be lit up again but in a 21st-century way! We are choreographing a drone show over Vail Mountain to replace our traditional fireworks. Don’t miss this incredible show.

110 miles on some of the most gorgeous roads in the country. This epic bike ride covers 3 mountain passes from Evergreen to Vail in the heart of the Rocky Mountains.

VAIL OKTOBERFEST
Vail Oktoberfest™ will return in September to both Lionshead and Vail Village, with time-honored traditions like keg bowling, stein lifting, and brat eating contests. Guests will be able to don their lederhosen and dirndls to enjoy music with legendary performer Helmut Fricker and all the Bavarian musicians in the line-up. There will be plenty of time to polka, grab a pretzel or strudel, drink beer and say Prosit!

VAIL AUTOMOTIVE CLASSIC
The Vail Concours is a multi-day, annual automotive event, hosted in beautiful Vail, Colorado. Since 2009, the Vail Concours draws a diverse group of automotive enthusiasts from across the United States and Canada. Entries range from contemporary supercars and sports cars to vintage collector cars and motorcycles.

The Colorado Film Institute’s mission is to foster independent film through film screenings, panels, workshops, networking events, and educational projects. The Colorado Film Institute stages the Vail Film Festival on an annual basis in Vail, Colorado as the primary outlet for the Institute’s initiatives.

WINTER MOUNTAIN GAMES
The best all-around mountain experience anywhere in the world comes to Vail. Thousands of pro and amateur adventure athletes sign up each year and converge upon the mountains of Vail to compete in 4 disciplines and more than 8 competitions including fat tire bike racing, skimo, snowshoe, bootlegger, and more. The competitions are just the beginning. The event also features the Mountains of Music LIVE concert series throughout the weekend.
