VAIL/EAGLE AIRPORT (EGE)
Located only 35 miles from Vail, you'll enjoy a short 40-minute drive without driving over mountain passes.
Major airlines offer flights here including American, Delta, and United with flights from Dallas, Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Atlanta and more depending on the season. There are also daily flights to and from Denver International Airport to allow connections through Denver.
DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (DIA)
Located 120 miles from Vail via I-70 (2 hrs). DIA is the region’s largest major airport and serves as a hub for United Airlines and Frontier Airlines. It is served by most major air carriers and several regional airlines.
United schedules daily flights from Denver to Vail/Eagle Airport (EGE). Alternatively, car rentals, shuttles, and private car services are also available.

Many of our guests discover they don’t need a car once they’ve arrived at the resort. A complimentary in-town shuttle runs throughout the day and evening between Gold Peak, Vail Village, and Lionshead Village.
Many of our properties are within walking distance to ski slopes and hiking trails or may offer an on-site shuttle around Vail.

Packing for the seasons
SPRING
March through May gradually gets warmer each month with high temperatures ranging between 35-60 degrees. While occasional snowstorms persist in March and April, typically longer, sunny days mean softer snow and the ability to reduce ski layers. Jackets, pants, and helmets with vents are ideal for cooling off in the lift line. Sunscreen is key as the longer sunnier days at our high altitude increase your chance for sunburn or the dreaded "goggle tan."
FALL
September to November begin to cool off towards late September ranging from 40 - 75 degrees. Days remain hot in early September but quickly drop at night. Summer clothing is still ideal, but bring layers and pants, and long sleeve shirts for variable weather. In October and November, expect an occasional rain or snowstorm as mother nature starts to prepare for the winter.
SUMMER
June through August temperatures can range from 60 - 90 degrees in the daytime. These warmer temperatures mean tank tops, dresses, t-shirts, shorts, and sandals. Pack a light jacket or cardigan for cooler nights. If you plan to hike, pack hiking shoes for the trails as normal sneakers may not provide enough cushion and support. Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray if you will be venturing into the woods. A pool or hot tub is always a great option post-workout so pack your swimsuit too!
WINTER
December through February are the coldest winter months in Beaver Creek, Colorado with temperatures ranging from 0 - 35 degrees. Days are shorter, but these are the months that are ideal for all snowsports. We suggest packing heavier outerwear, underlayers, face coverings to protect your skin, boots, hats, gloves & mittens. Sunscreen, lip balm, and body lotion are great to have on hand in a high, dry climate. Apres-ski in the hot tub? Pack your swimsuit.
