SCENIC GONDOLA RIDE
Vail opens the Eagle Bahn Gondola out of Lionshead Village and Gondola One out of Vail Village during the summer months. The Eagle Bahn Gondola takes you to Eagle’s Nest where guests can enjoy dining, Epic Discovery, a frisbee golf course, hiking, and biking trails. Gondola One takes guests up to mid-Vail for a variety of hiking and biking trails. Guests can also haul their mountain bikes up for easy access to all the upper biking trails on Vail Mountain.
GOLF
Play on one of the Vail Valley’s dozen courses, all with stunning views of the Rocky Mountains. With courses designed by Irwin, Palmer, Norman, and Fazio, both the public and private courses are spectacular. HIKING AND BIKING
There is a variety of rated trails on Vail Mountain for hiking and mountain biking. Take a scenic gondola ride up and explore trails on Vail Mountain (or favorite is Grand Traverse) or venture outside the Vail Valley to tackle one of Colorado’s famous fourteeners.
TUBING IN VAIL
Head to the top of Vail Mountain to Adventure Ridge and enjoy the rush of adrenaline as you are whisked downhill. No more trudging uphill after a ride down – an easy-access surface lift will bring you back to the top! Children under 5 must be accompanied by an adult and all tubers must be at least 36 inches tall. Summer tubing is also available.
