SEASONAL ADVENTURES FOR ALL AGES IN TAHOE.

Lake Tahoe is a winter wonderland, receiving more average snowfall than most North American ski destinations at about 350 inches per year and enjoying 300 days per year of warm, California sunshine. All winter long locals and visitors can take part in Tahoe’s endless recreation from alpine skiing to snowboarding, sleigh rides to dog sledding, snowmobiling to snowshoeing.

Lake Tahoe is truly majestic during summertime. With warm, sunny days and crisp, starry nights, it’s no wonder so many visit its pristine shores year in and year out. Spend the day boating, stand up paddle boarding or kayaking Lake Tahoe’s pristine waters, raft leisurely down the Truckee River, or explore the Sierra Nevadas via hiking or mountain biking. The Tahoe area is also home to several championship golf courses, as challenging as they are picturesque. The summer activities are endless in North Lake Tahoe!

GOLF

Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life at one of Lake Tahoe’s scenic, challenging mountain golf courses. Our favorites are Old Greenwood’s world-class Jack Nicklaus golf course, and Gray’s Crossing’s Peter Jacobson-designed golf course.

Old Greenwood offers 7,518 yards of exciting play amongst towering Jeffrey pines, blue sage, and winding streams connecting four large rainbow trout lakes. Old Greenwood has been honored many times as one of the nation’s best golf courses.

Gray’s Crossing tempts the avid golfer with elevation changes and water hazards among its 7,466 total yards. You’ll be immersed in an environment of serene native wetlands, wildflowers, and majestic pines.
