CHAIRMAN & FOUNDING PARTNER

Harry is the founding partner of East West Partners and a key figure behind the creation and growth of East West Hospitality. With a career spanning four decades, he previously served as president of Vail Associates before establishing East West Partners, where he has led more than $1 billion in residential and commercial development projects. His vision and development work laid the foundation for East West Hospitality, providing property, association, and resort management services across the company’s portfolio. Harry has been instrumental in expanding the company’s footprint in markets including Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Denver, Charleston, Lake Tahoe, and Deer Valley, always emphasizing environmentally conscious land use and community enrichment. Beyond development, he has chaired the Vail Valley Foundation for more than 30 years, supporting cultural, athletic, and educational programs, and his leadership reflects a commitment to building strong communities and long-term value for owners, guests, and partners. Harry is also past chairman of the Urban Land Institute.

Fun fact: In 2016, he was inducted into the International Ski Hall of Fame, quipping that he was “the worst skier on that list” alongside legendary athletes.

She has been with the company since 1994 and brings decades of experience in hospitality and finance, with a career grounded in creating exceptional guest and team experiences. Colleen takes pride in fostering a culture built on genuine connections, where employees feel seen, supported, and empowered to deliver personal, thoughtful, and memorable experiences. She is committed to inspiring teams, strengthening collaboration, and guiding the company’s continued growth while maintaining a culture where trust, engagement, and long-term success flourish.

Fun Fact: She will travel internationally to see the Dave Matthews Band perform.

Kevin leads strategic business growth for East West Hospitality and provides executive oversight for the company’s multi-family and Hawai‘i operations. He has been with East West since 1996 and brings decades of hospitality experience, beginning his career as an intern at the Oxford Hotel and progressing through roles in accounting, operations, and general management across resorts in Breckenridge, Palm Springs, Kaua‘i, Maui, and Vail. Kevin takes pride in guiding thoughtful portfolio growth, navigating industry challenges, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. He supports teams by removing obstacles, encouraging collaboration, and empowering people to take ownership, while focusing on expanding the company’s presence in ways that elevate the resident and guest experience and create opportunities for employees across the organization.

Fun Fact: He served as the flag bearer for Team Jamaica during the opening ceremonies of the 1999 Alpine World Championships in Vail.

She joined the company in 2023 and brings over two decades of hospitality and finance experience, including leadership roles with Hyatt Hotels, Vail Resorts, Smashburger, and Sage Hospitality. Kathy takes pride in helping team members excel and advance while leading by example, fostering support, and encouraging balance and engagement. She is energized by leveraging expertise, trust, and transparency to drive new opportunities and strengthen financial performance across the organization.

Fun fact: Kathy climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in 2010.

Ryan oversees day-to-day operations across all markets. He joined the company in 2020 and brings nearly two decades of hospitality experience, beginning his career at the front desk and advancing into senior leadership roles within vacation rental and property management organizations. Ryan takes a relationship-driven approach to leadership, focusing on listening, learning, and supporting teams as they strengthen association management capabilities and maintain best-in-class rental programs. He is committed to fostering a caring culture that supports balance, performance, and long-term success, while positioning the company to adapt and thrive amid rapid industry and technology change.

Fun Fact: He completed a 24-hour obstacle course race in 2024.

Theron oversees sales, marketing, revenue management, reservations, and guest experience for East West Hospitality, ensuring alignment across teams and sustained growth across all destinations. He has been with the company since 2019 and brings more than three decades of experience spanning consulting, technology, and marketing leadership. Theron takes pride in building East West’s in-house website infrastructure, which now generates more direct revenue annually, and in leading the transition to a full-service in-house marketing agency. He is focused on setting clear priorities, supporting strong cross-functional leadership, and empowering high-performing teams through clarity, collaboration, and a shared sense of purpose as the company continues to grow.

Fun Fact: He was once blessed by the Dalai Lama.

Aaron Hesse serves as Chief Information Officer for East West Hospitality, leading the company’s technology strategy across all destinations and corporate operations since 2023. He oversees IT infrastructure, systems architecture, cybersecurity, and data platforms to ensure technology supports operational excellence, scalability, and a high-quality guest and owner experience. Aaron focuses on aligning technology initiatives with business priorities to enable efficiency, reliability, and long-term growth.

Aaron brings a strategic, solutions-oriented approach to modernizing systems and strengthening cross-functional collaboration. He is particularly focused on streamlining operations, improving data-driven decision-making, and building secure, resilient platforms that support the evolving needs of the organization. Aaron leads by partnering closely with business leaders and empowering teams with tools that help them work smarter and adapt quickly in a changing hospitality landscape.

Fun Fact: Aaron taught high school math in Switzerland before he transitioned into technology.

Brian Harrier serves as Managing Director of Viceroy Snowmass, where he leads resort operations and guest experience at this luxury ski-in/ski-out destination in Snowmass Village. He returns to the Viceroy after serving as General Manager of The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, Colorado, and previously held leadership roles at the Viceroy, including Director of Operations and Director of Engineering. Brian began his hospitality career at The Westin Princeville Ocean Resort Villas in Hawaii, advancing through operational and engineering roles and demonstrating a broad skill set across hotel operations, spa and fitness, and food and beverage management. He is known for strategic, hands-on leadership and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests and teams alike. Brian’s deep property knowledge and commitment to service excellence anchor his leadership as he guides Viceroy Snowmass’s continued success and reputation for elevated hospitality.

Veronica Moretti

Veronica Moretti leads operations at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, where she ensures exceptional guest experiences and strong performance at one of the Vail Valley’s top resort destinations. Originally from Argentina, she has lived in the Vail Valley for nearly 20 years and has built a broad base of hospitality experience, beginning her career at the Vail Marriott where she worked across front desk, housekeeping, and rooms leadership before advancing into senior resort management. Most recently, Veronica served as General Manager of Solaris Residences and Director of Operations — Vail Division for East West Hospitality, overseeing multiple boards and properties with a focus on team development and operational excellence. She is known for her collaborative leadership, deep industry connections, and commitment to building strong teams that deliver memorable experiences for guests, owners, and partners across the portfolio.
