This long-standing Western tradition is complete with country music, cowboys and cowgirls, horses, livestock, and family fun. The Snowmass Rodeo takes place every Wednesday, rain or shine, at 5:00 pm from late June to early August.
JUN 26 | ARTS FESTIVAL
The Snowmass Art Festival is a juried art show featuring original handcrafted artwork. This free two-day event showcases local Colorado and national artists, representing a wide array of mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, glass, wood, and more.

COMMUNITY CELEBRATION & CONCERT
Celebrate the Fourth of July evening in Snowmass with live music on the Fanny Hill stage, sweet treats, and free glow-in-the-dark goodies. Patriotic attire is encouraged. Bring a picnic blanket or chairs to sit on, and a jacket or sweater for after the sun goes down. For food, pack a picnic or grab to-go items from a nearby Snowmass restaurant.
RENDEZVOUS CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL
The festival involves wineries, distilleries, and retailers joining in the fun of what was formerly just a craft beer tasting. Expect endless exploration and libations all weekend long.
HERITAGE FIRE
The event remains a celebration of family farming and breed diversity, featuring notable chefs and farmers, and spotlighting traditional outdoor cooking techniques. The event also showcases an outstanding collection of wineries, breweries, and craft distilleries served alongside the meat-laden feast. *You must be 21 or older to attend this event

5K ON THE MOUNTAIN
The Colorado Brewery Running Series, a Denver-based series, returns to Snowmass. The run consists of a 5k trail run starting and ending on the Snowmass Mall. This year runners have the option to race either Friday evening or Saturday morning (or both!).
CIDERMASS
Enjoy ciders from 20-30 different vendors from 1:00pm-4:00pm on the Snowmass Mall. Check back for info on this year’s vendors and tickets.

JAS ASPEN SNOWMASS LABOR DAY EXPERIENCE
JAS Aspen Snowmass Labor Day Experience features three days of world-class performances on multiple stages, eclectic food and beverage vendors, a kiddie corner, and more.
SNOWMASS BALLOON FESTIVAL
The iconic Snowmass Balloon Festival returns to Snowmass Village each September and includes three days of morning balloon launches and a Friday evening Balloon Night Glow. Spectators are encouraged to take in the sights and sounds of the morning balloon launches taking place between 7:30am-9:00am.
GOLDEN LEAF HALF MARATHON
This classic trail running race from Snowmass to Aspen is an annual sell-out that provides 980’ elevation gain and a 1,712’ descent over its 13.1 miles. The Golden Leaf is one of the most beautiful foot races in the Rockies and traverses from Snowmass Village to the heart of Aspen on mountain trails and roads at the height of Colorado’s breathtaking fall colors.
SNOWMASS WINE FESTIVAL
Experience an incredible afternoon of food, flavors, sights, and sounds at the Snowmass Wine Festival, hosted by the Rotary Club of Snowmass Village. Returning for its 19th year, the festival features 20 tables of light food from local providers and 35 tables of wine vendors under the tent at Snowmass Town Park.

SNOWMASS OPENING DAY
A cozy resort town tucked into the mountainside, Snowmass is an immersive experience with a wide array of terrain and activities that the entire family can enjoy. Larger than our three other mountains combined, Snowmass offers burly steeps, inviting glades, and endless bumps, jumps, and groomers. You’ll be challenged to ski it all in a week—or a full season.
