Grand Aspen Resort Condominium Association board of directors and owners announced today The Aspen Mountain Residences, a reintroduction, and rebranding of the property formerly known as the Hyatt Grand Aspen.
Located in the center of Aspen’s “front-row,” steps from Aspen’s iconic Ajax Mountain and its gondola, The Aspen Mountain Residences are private fractional condominium accommodations ranging from studios through four-bedroom units, all with fireplaces and private balconies offering front row panoramic mountain views, well-appointed kitchens, spa tubs, and steam showers.
High-touch guest services include dedicated concierge, ski valet, bike and sport rental, and additional resort amenities include an outdoor pool, shared and private hot tubs, and Aspen’s well-known Silver Circle ice rink, a cherished wintertime gathering place for owners and the Aspen community.
“Our close-knit group of owners felt it was important to bring our property closer to the local community, which includes trying to source most everything from the surrounding area. This includes our employees and vendors wherever we can,” said Al Kenney, President of The Aspen Mountain Residences Condo Association, Inc.
After an exhaustive national search of many highly qualified management companies, the board selected East West Hospitality who is well known in the valley not only for their presence in Snowmass Base Village, but also known for their Colorado roots and their commitment and investment in their employees. “East West Hospitality begins managing the property today. They will report directly to the board, delivering on a culture that will be increasingly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and transparent. Partnering with East West Hospitality further establishes our investment in the community for the owners of this iconic Aspen property. I’d like to thank Hyatt Management team for our successful 16-year relationship and thank them and East West Hospitality for helping to make the complex transition, a very smooth 90-day process,” Kenney said.
“We are thrilled to welcome The Aspen Mountain Residences to the East West Hospitality family as our newest Aspen property, a prestigious complement to our growing portfolio of destinations that deliver exceptional experiences for travelers,” said Colleen Weiss-Hanen, President and Chief Executive Officer, East West Hospitality.
